Our team is growing and we are seeking dynamic individuals to join us. As a Reporting Center of Excellence Specialist you will be responsible for the production of accurate regulatory reports, through efficient data processing techniques with the use of advanced analytical tools and the performance of complex data calculations and algorithmic processes.

What you will be doing

• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities (ESG Pillar III disclosures, FinRep, BoG Executive Committee Acts,etc.), ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and adherence to deadlines.
• Identify and communicate the key insights of the regulatory reports and disclosures to Senior Management through targeted presentations and visualization dashboards.
• Monitor and timely update the reporting activities master plan to properly address business expectations and ensure adherence to regulatory reporting delivery deadlines.
• Maintain a data lineage dictionary and a uniform list of definitions for the elements included in internal, external and regulatory reports in line with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision’s (BCBS) 239 standard.
• Contribute to the design and definition of validation rules that ensure data accuracy and implement checks and controls using predefined criteria.
• Participate in the implementation of new reporting requirements, transforming business needs to detailed business specifications and performing User Acceptance Tests, ensuring high quality deliverables.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, interpret complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in reporting and data analytics.

What you need to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or other quantitative field of study.
• Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Data Analytics or other quantitative field of study.
• ​At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a banking institution or an audit/consulting/FinTech firm.
• Capability of extracting value and forward-looking insights from data, using a combination of technical skills (e.g. SQL, SAS, SPSS), quantitative know-how and business acumen.
• Good knowledge of visual analytics suites (e.g. QlikView, Power BI).
• Proficient use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Project managements skills
• Familiarity with ESG reporting concepts and terminology especially in the banking sector will be highly appreciated.
