As Internal Auditor | IT / Data Analytics you will be part of the Information Technology, Digital Banking and Data Analytics audit team and will engage frequently with ΙΤ, Cyber Security, Digital Banking, Data Governance business and functional units across the Group, both locally and internationally, while providing valuable insights and challenging the effectiveness of respective ICT and operational risk management processes.

You should have both solid ICT technical and Data Processing background and internal audit experience.

What you will be doing

• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the IT processes followed at Group level.
• Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of information systems and applications.
• Contribute to the development and application of the internal audit functions’ data analytics capability.
• Review, evaluate and test application controls.
• Complete audit working papers by documenting audit tests and findings.
• Provide recommendations on identified issues.
• Keep abreast of the new audit developments and apply international practices and standards (IIA, ISACA - CoBIT, ITIL etc.).

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or in another quantitative field of study (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics or any other related discipline).
• A professional qualification (e.g., CIA, CISA, ACCA, FRM, CFA or equivalent) will be considered an asset.
• Four (4) to seven (7) years of professional experience in at least one of the following fields: Network/System/Database/Development/Application Administration; IT Security; Data Processing and Data Visualization Technologies; ICT Audit
• Knowledge of banking environment will be considered a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
• Outstanding communication, report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• A proactive mindset.
• A demonstrated ability to quickly understand complex processes and contribute effectively to team and organizational objectives.
