- Αναπτύσσεις και διαχειρίζεσαι OpenShift operators

- Τηρείς την ασφάλεια του cluster (RBAC, SCC, πιστοποιητικά, μυστικά)
- Παρακολουθείς την υγεία και τη χωρητικότητα του cluster με εργαλεία παρακολούθησης
- Υλοποιείς και συντηρείς τις ρυθμίσεις της πλατφόρμας (storage, δικτύωση, υπολογιστική ισχύ)
- Συμβάλλεις στην αυτοματοποίηση (Ansible, scripts, pipelines)
- Τηρείς τεκμηρίωση λειτουργίας και runbooks
- Υποστηρίζεις ομάδες DevOps κατά την ενσωμάτωση στο OpenShift
- Συμμετέχεις στη διαχείριση περιστατικών και ανάλυση αιτιών
Βασικές προϋποθέσεις
- Εμπειρία με Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) και Kubernetes θεμελιώδεις γνώσεις
- Εγκατάσταση cluster (IPI/UPI) και διαχείριση κύκλου ζωής OpenShift (αναβαθμίσεις, patching)
- Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
- Διαχείριση συστημάτων Linux και αντιμετώπιση προβλημάτων σε κατανεμημένα συστήματα
- Περιβάλλοντα on-premises (VMware/Bare Metal) και δικτύωση cluster (Ingress, Egress, Routes, DNS, LoadBalancers)
- Ασφάλεια cluster (RBAC, SCC, πιστοποιητικά, μυστικά), εργαλεία παρακολούθησης υγείας του cluster και αυτοματοποίηση (Ansible, scripts, pipelines)
- Τεκμηρίωση και συντήρηση runbooks, διαχείριση περιστατικών, ανάλυση αιτιών και συνεργασία με ομάδες DevOps, ασφάλειας και εφαρμογών

Περιγραφή Θέσης
As an OpenShift Engineer, you will join Alpha Bank’s Cloud and Shared Infrastructure domain within IT Infrastructure & Operations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise OpenShift platforms across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
You will work closely with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability, scalability, and compliance.
What you will be doing
• Manage and operate OpenShift clusters in production environments (on-prem & cloud)
• Perform cluster lifecycle operations (installation, upgrades, patching)
• Deploy and manage OpenShift operators
• Troubleshoot platform, networking, and workload issues
• Manage cluster networking (Ingress, Egress, Routes, DNS, LoadBalancers)
• Maintain cluster security (RBAC, SCC, certificates, secrets)
• Monitor cluster health and capacity using observability tools
• Implement and maintain platform configurations (storage, networking, compute)
• Contribute to automation (e.g. Ansible, scripts, or pipelines)
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks
• Support DevOps teams onboarding onto OpenShift
• Participate in incident handling and root-cause analysis
What you need to have
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) in day-to-day operations
• Experience with cluster installation (IPI/UPI) on-prem or cloud
• Experience with OpenShift upgrades and lifecycle management
• Experience with Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
• Strong Kubernetes fundamentals
• Linux systems administration experience
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems
• Experience with on-prem (VMware/Bare Metal)
Nice to have
• GitOps tools (ArgoCD)
• Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM)
• Ansible automation
• Service Mesh (Istio / OpenShift Service Mesh)
• Observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana)
