As a Financial Systems Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting area regarding its main IT system (SAP), by being the business administrator for these systems and facilitating the transformation projects of the team.
What you will be doing
Act as a business system administrator for the key IT systems used by relevant business areas, primarily the accounting system (SAP).
Monitor and keep audit trail of the requests for user access rights for the Bank’s key IT systems and assist with their regular review and respective role profiles.
Cooperate with the relevant teams of accounting areas to understand the needs for IT automation and translate them into IT requirements.
Prepare and review functional specifications that involve new improvements to existing software and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for their implementation.
Liaise with IT Business Areas and external consultants to define solutions for IT automation needs and drive their execution and testing.
Provide the configuration, customization and integration of reporting platforms for the generation of reports and disclosures in various formats (i.e. excel, xbrl).
Collect and process relevant information and accounting data to produce reports and statistics as required.
Compose policy and procedure documentation regarding the accounting system (SAP).
Produce and update user manuals and train business users.
Coordinate end-to-end delivery of finance system enhancements, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, testing, and deployment, ensuring smooth implementation and system performance.
What you need to have
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or other related fields.
A Master’s degree in a related field will be considered a plus.
Seven (7) years of professional experience in accounting related services in a financial institution.
