data governance architecture specialist

As a Business Data Architecture Specialist will be placed in the Data Governance and Quality Business Area and you will be responsible for recommending, designing, and optimizing the Bank's data architecture processes. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient data modeling, data management platforms, and data governance. 

What you will be doing

• Provide recommendations for the Bank's data architecture processes, including Information Architecture deliverables and artifacts.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and document data modeling optimizations within the existing data architecture processes.

• Develop policies, rules, and standards to determine how data is collected, stored, integrated, and used through data systems.

• Support the Business Stewards for documenting properly the critical data elements/ reports, following the DGF 

• Collaborate with Technical Stewards regarding Data Lineage documentation

• Compile and maintains the list of key data elements/ reports, as determined by business data owners in each data domain.

• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to understand data requirements and define the best ways to deliver business value effectively.

• Participate in projects that introduce new information and ensure alignment with data architecture.

• Ensure data integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis.

• Resolve data integrity gaps by working with business owners and ITOM.

• Take responsibility for the creation and maintenance of the Data Glossary of Terms/ Reports in collaboration with other Business and IT roles.

What you need to have

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Statistics or relevant fields

• A Master’s degree in Business Intelligence or Data Management (preferred) 

• At least five (5) years of working experience in the field of data and analytics, including experience with systems architecture methodologies (preferable in the Banking Sector)

• Experience on Database Querying and Database Management

• Teamwork spirit and ability to cooperate effectively.
