cloud engineer

As a  Cloud Engineer  you will join the Alpha Bank’s Cloud and Shared Infrastructure domain within the IT Infrastructure & Operations business Area and you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud-based solutions that align with our organization’s technical and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability.

What you will be doing

•    Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
•    Monitor and optimize cloud resources for efficiency and availability.
•    Develop automation scripts for provisioning and orchestration.
•    Implement IaC using tools like Terraform or Bicep.
•    Apply cloud security best practices and ensure compliance.
•    Manage IAM policies, encryption, and access controls.
•    Configure alerting and monitoring tools.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues..
•    Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture and procedures.
•    Update SOPs for cloud-related operations.
•    Work with development, DevOps, and IT teams.
•    Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance.
•    Monitor cloud spending and implement cost-saving strategies.
•    Assist in budget planning and recommend cost-effective solutions.

What you need to have

•    Α Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
•    Α Master’s degree preferred.
•    Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Architect) are a plus.
•    Strong understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure, and services.
•    Familiarity with scripting tools (e.g., Bicep, Bash, PowerShell).
•    Knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in cloud environments.
•    Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Bicep.
