We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer for the Construction of the Student Halls in Crete to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the Quality Control (QC) team and program
Develop, implement, and maintain QC policies, procedures, and standards
Execute the three phases of control, including submittal review and approval, testing and required QC certifications and documentation
Coordinate inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications
Monitor and analyze quality performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Investigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with production, procurement, and engineering teams to address quality issues
Prepare quality reports for management and regulatory authorities
Lead training initiatives to enhance the quality awareness and capabilities of the team
Develop and maintain inspection and testing protocols
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction industry in quality control, with a minimum of 2 years in a QC Manager position
Experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance and sustainability
Excellent command of MS-Office Suite and project management software
Knowledge of construction codes and standards, as well as relevant regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
