ACT, the tertiary division of Anatolia College, is accredited in the United States by NECHE (New England Commission of Higher Education). In addition to ACT having full NECHE accreditation, the undergraduate and graduate programs delivered at ACT are also validated in the EU through The Open University.
Summary
Assisting with the admissions, recruitment and financial aid processes for all Anatolia University programs.
Reports to: Director of Admissions and the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Handles the admissions process for all graduate, certificate and minor program students.
Handles the financial aid application process of all undergraduate and graduate students and communicates the Financial Aid Committee's decisions to applicants.
Collects and records enrollment data of graduate applicants and students.
Assists international undergraduate and graduate students with the student visa process.
Assists with the new undergraduate and graduate orientation organization.
Supports back-office activities.
Participates in the organization and execution of recruitment events and promotes Anatolia University by attending exhibitions, fairs, and events, and traveling within Greece and abroad when needed.
Provides guidance to prospective graduate students throughout the admissions process and follows up with new admitted graduate students.
Note: The above duties could be amended as office needs, and work varies over time.
Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Marketing, Education, Business or any other field that relates to the position duties.
A graduate degree is not required, but it will be considered an asset
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
Experience using search engines (Internet) for research
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Google calendars, Google docs/forms; general Web proficiency
Ability to work in a diverse and cultural environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Able to multitask, get tasks done quickly and accurately
Adaptability/Flexibility: Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities, handles pressure, and adjusts plans to meet changing needs
Teamwork: Meets all team deadlines and responsibilities, helps the team leader to meet goals
Knowledge of a Balkan language would be a plus
Driver's license required
Ability to travel within Greece and abroad
Answers general public inquiries on recruitment, and performs other related duties as required
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant position/field is required
Experience working in a school/ education field is considered an asset/ is required
