ACS Athens, a student-centered international school, embracing American educational philosophy, principles and values, is seeking to recruit an Elementary School teacher to teach Elementary School students. The teacher reports to the Elementary School Principal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Monitoring: Assess students' understanding and adjust instruction as needed.

• Innovative Instruction: Utilize technology and innovative strategies to enhance learning and student confidence.

• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional growth through training events.

• Team Collaboration: Contribute to the goals of the grade/team/department.

• Field Trip Planning: Organize curriculum-aligned field trips.

• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Flexibility, confidence, and adaptability in teaching.

• Knowledgeable about best practices in teaching and American Common Core standards.

• Skilled in instructional interventions and special education awareness.

• Familiar with age-appropriate developmental concepts.

• Capable of preparing engaging lesson plans and monitoring student progress.

• Create a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

• Appreciate individual differences and ensure equitable learning opportunities.

Requirements:

• Valid Teaching License in Elementary Education.

• Degree from an accredited institution in Elementary Education.

• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience in an American curriculum school.

• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.

• Commitment to staying current with content knowledge and teaching strategies.

• Proficient in using technology for educational purposes.
