Job’s purpose

As a Tax Compliance Supervisor, reporting directly to the Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company’s tax compliance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation of tax returns and filings, staying up to date on changes in tax laws, and providing timely updates to management. Your expertise will help align the company’s tax practices with its financial and regulatory goals. What you will focus on

• Monitor and support the preparation of the Income Tax Return and other declarations (VAT, payroll withholding tax, other withholding taxes, property taxes, etc.).

• Contribute to the monthly calculation of Income Tax and Deferred Tax for reporting purposes.

• Stay informed on tax law changes and provide timely updates to the management team.

• Contribute to the Transfer Pricing Documentation File in accordance with local requirements.

• Ensure full compliance with Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) mandates (e.g myDATA).

• Provide expertise and oversight in resolving complex tax issues, such as those involving purchase agreements and lease contracts.

• Contribute to the Budget/Forecast for Income Tax and Deferred Tax.

What you have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or Business Administration

• Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or Tax Law would be considered an asset

• Approximately 6-7 years of working experience in the above-mentioned tax-related areas

• Experience in an audit firm’s Tax Department or Audit Department with a focus on tax matters is preferred

• ACCA Certification / IESOEL Certification (preferred)

• Excellent command of the English language

• Proficiency in SAP

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Strong accounting knowledge based on Greek and International Accounting Standard
