Job’s Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Media Specialist to join our Monetization team in Marketing department. 
As a Media Specialist in Monetization sales team, you will play a pivotal role in the AB retail media proposition and targets. identifying new business opportunities & touchpoints, developing, and executing strategies that drive customer engagement, increase brands’ visibility in-store / online, and boost sales. You will collaborate with various teams, including marketing, commerce, and store operations, to create and manage retail media campaigns across multiple channels.

About Monetization / Retail Media Advertising
Retail media advertising refers to ads placed within retailer’s physical stores, sites or apps. It allows brands that sell products directly through the retailer to promote their visibility, to influence consumers at the point of purchase. Also retail media advertising works for non-endemic brands looking to reach the retailer’s audience and this form of advertising is the 3rd wave of advertising following SEM and SoMe.

 

What you will focus on:

• Identify and prospect new clients/advertisers.

• Develop and Maintain Suppliers Relationships regarding retail media.

• Understand client needs and provide custom solutions that align with their business objectives.

• Deliver compelling sales presentations to clients/advertisers on AB own media touchpoints.

• Prepare proposals both for marketing (awareness, consideration) and trade (promo related) campaigns & teams.

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.

• Stay up to date with the latest media & retail media technologies and tools.

• Work closely with our internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful campaign execution.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and prepare sales reports for management.

• Have a data driven and fact-based approach with media and sell out KPIs

• Monitor weekly and monthly sales to reach targets per touchpoint

Who we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management (preferably in media either from agency or publisher

• University Degree BSc. in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or any related field.

• Excellent knowledge in Greek and English language (both spoken and written)

• MS Office Literacy | focus on Excel in CRM tools

• Strong understanding of the Media Landscape

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets (driving business growth)
