The University of Nicosia invites applications for the role of&nbsp;Human Resources Officer&nbsp;for our upcoming&nbsp;Athens campus. This role is key to supporting the effective operation of HR functions in compliance with university policies and labor laws, while fostering a positive and high-performing work environment. *Subject to meeting all regulatory and legal requirements in Cyprus and Greece. Key Responsibilities: HR Administration &amp; Records<ul><li>Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and university requirements.</li><li>Support the administration of HR systems and documentation.</li></ul>Recruitment &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>Assist in the hiring process and manage the onboarding of new employees.</li><li>Ensure new staff are well-integrated into the university environment.</li></ul>Employee Relations &amp; Support<ul><li>Serve as a liaison between staff and management to promote effective communication.</li><li>Support the resolution of employee relations matters and help foster a collaborative workplace.</li></ul>Performance &amp; Development<ul><li>Organize and coordinate employee performance evaluation processes.</li><li>Collect feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Support the implementation of training and professional development programs.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Policy Implementation<ul><li>Ensure compliance with labor legislation and HR best practices.</li><li>Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports to support strategic decisions.</li></ul>Cross-Departmental Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate with other departments on organizational development projects, policy changes, and new systems.</li><li>Perform general HR administrative tasks, such as document management and meeting coordination.</li></ul>Qualifications: Education<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Master’s degree is preferred.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>At least 3 years of experience in a similar HR role.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>Excellent knowledge of labor legislation and HR practices.</li><li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Familiarity with HR information systems and reporting tools.</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English.</li></ul>Personal Attributes:<ul><li>Professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.</li><li>A team-oriented mindset with a service-focused approach.</li></ul>
