For more information, visit www.pepsico.comResponsibilitiesThe Transportation Manager is accountable for ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely execution of all transportation activities across Greece for both Snacks and Beverages. This includes: managing international &amp; domestic inbound deliveries, outbound customer shipments, and intercompany stock transfers, while overseeing the performance of transportation service providers and ensuring full compliance with PepsiCo standards and local regulations.This role plays a key part in supporting customer satisfaction, optimizing logistics operations, reducing costs, and driving continuous improvement across the transportation network.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Team Leadership:Lead, coach, and develop a team of Transportation Planners, responsible for dispatching, routing, and tracking transport vehicles and shipments across the country.</li><li>Operations Management:Plan, coordinate, and execute all transportation-related activities for inbound, outbound, and intercompany flows, ensuring high service levels and cost efficiency.</li><li>Internal Collaboration:Act as the primary liaison for transportation across key functions including Sales, MAKE, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Customer Collaboration, ensuring smooth communication and rapid issue resolution.</li><li>Customer Service:Address and resolve transportation-related issues, including shipment delays, complaints, and discrepancies to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Policy &amp; Resource Optimization:Design and implement operational policies and best practices that optimize the use of equipment, facilities, and personnel to meet or exceed department KPIs.</li><li>Vendor &amp; Contract Management:Negotiate, manage, and monitor performance of transportation service providers (3PLs), suppliers, and logistics partners, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.</li><li>Financial Oversight:Analyze transportation costs and manage budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Safety:Ensure full compliance with local transportation laws, PepsiCo’s Code of Conduct, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.</li><li>Digital Transformation:Drive the implementation and enhancement of IT and digital solutions (e.g., TMS, real-time tracking, analytics tools) to improve visibility, performance, and data-driven decision making.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3–5 years of experience in Logistics or Transportation Management, preferably within an international or multinational environment.</li><li>University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field; a master’s degree is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail and the ability to interpret and act on complex data sets.</li><li>Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li><li>Solid PC literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); experience with ERP and TMS systems (SAP preferred).</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in Greek is required.</li></ul>
