A Lifeguard is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers .   Responsibilities: Supervise and ensure safety of swimmers Ensure guests feel safe in the pool area Inspect facilities for cleanliness; complete general pool cleaning and maintenance duties at regular points throughout shift Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practice; enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required Keep accurate records and reports related to incidents, pool maintenance, and guest interactions Requirements Excellent command of the Greek and English language Knowledge of a third language (i.e. German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, etc.) is desirable Must possess Lifeguard certification (from public or private schools, validated from the Greek Port Authorities) Must be aware of First Aid rules and techniques (Red Cross CPR certification is desirable) University degree in Sports Science or other additional specialty/certifications will be valued accordingly Minimum 1-3 years’ experience as a Lifeguard, preferably in an organised hotel environment Pleasant personality, positive attitude, and ability to cooperate and work well with other staff members Very good communication skills, well-groomed appearance, professionalism   Additional Information: We offer a competitive compensation package, including salary, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Towel Boy to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience by maintaining the availability and cleanliness of towels and providing excellent customer service at our hotel pool. Key Responsibilities: Distribute clean towels to guests and collect used towels Ensure the pool area is clean and well-organized Assist guests with any poolside needs or inquiries Maintain an adequate supply of clean towels and restock as needed Monitor the towel inventory and report any shortages or issues to management Provide information about pool amenities and hotel services as needed Support the pool staff with additional tasks as required, such as setting up chairs and umbrellas   Qualifications: Friendly and approachable demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods.
