What you'll do:<ul><li>Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll in your region, as well as in other trained countries</li><li>Own all critical local payroll and HR processes, including setting up involuntary deductions, supporting onboardings and offboardings of employees on record in your designated location</li><li>Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports, ensuring compliance with local tax authorities</li><li>Prepare schedules to collect payroll expenses from various sources and reconcile collections to expenses</li><li>Answer complex payroll and HR related questions from employees and clients in your designated location</li><li>Schedule payroll expenses collections and reconcile collections to expenses</li><li>Assess and improve rapid growth processes and procedures, ensuring compliance</li><li>Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policies changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams</li><li>Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters in your designated location</li><li>Evaluate and select relevant software for running payroll, incorporating Deel product technology requirements</li></ul> Key Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution</li><li>Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines timely and accurately</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with clients and coordinate and align with various stakeholders across teams</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with employees and explain complex issues at an understandable level</li><li>Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions</li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel</li><li>Strong proficiency in English</li></ul>Total RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. Payroll Expert, Switzerland

The payroll implementation consultant ensures the successful implementation and support of PaySpace by Deel’s payroll solution for new and existing clients by analysing client requirements, configuring the system, migrating data, and ensuring accuracy. This senior role focuses on larger clients with a headcount of 1000+ and involves leading a team of consultants during implementations. The role requires a strong blend of UK payroll expertise, technical skills, project management skills, and the ability to engage with senior client stakeholders.Duties and Responsibilities:Customer Excellence<ul><li>Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design customized solutions that align with their goals</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.</li><li>Manage client relationships throughout the implementation lifecycle, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction</li><li>Provide expert guidance and support during the implementation process, ensuring timely and successful delivery</li><li>Take accountability for service excellence and adhere to company work standards.</li></ul>Payroll Implementations<ul><li>Lead workshops at client sites, including engagements with senior/executive management.</li><li>Analyse and document client requirements to design tailored solutions aligned with their goals.</li><li>Configure the system based on client requirements and ensure accuracy in complex calculations. Leveraging JavaScript where necessary.</li><li>Migrate data from clients' current systems and balance payroll data.</li><li>Distribute configuration and migration tasks across the team and ensure quality work.</li><li>Ensure project milestones are met, follow standard implementation procedures, and provide user training.</li></ul>Post-Implementation Support<ul><li>Provide support to new clients post-implementation until the handover to support or outsource departments.</li><li>Ensure a smooth handover process to support teams.</li></ul>General Duties<ul><li>Stay updated on system functionality and assist the support and Managed service teams with queries.</li><li>Mentor junior and mid-level consultants on implementation processes and system functionality.</li><li>Where applicable, lead the junior and mid-level consultants on the project.</li><li>Continuously improve implementation methodologies and processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction</li><li>Track and report on implementation progress, providing regular updates to clients and senior leadership</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, customer success) to ensure seamless project execution</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Comprehensive knowledge of UK Payroll and HR legislation.</li><li>At least 7 years of experience in payroll consulting or implementation, with 3 years in a senior role.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Proven ability to manage and deliver complex enterprise-level implementations.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior client stakeholders.</li><li>Experience with SaaS payroll solutions</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to mentor and lead a team, ensuring productivity and quality.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Information Technology, or related field.
