Your role will encompass: Analyse Customer's requirements. Collaborate with Proposal Manager to prepare the deliverables required in the Sales & Bidding process. Understand the technical aspects of the Tender or product being proposed, often working closely with technical experts within the organization. Identification of all necessary technical deliverables and potential risks associated with the proposed solutions. Preparation of the necessary designs and studies. Write and/or edit proposal content, including technical sections and other relevant documents ensuring it adheres to the guidelines provided in the RFP/RFQ. We are currently looking for an QA/QC Electrical Site Engineer to join our Construction team in a Data Centre project in Athens. Your role will encompass: Maintain standards of safety and comply with Project’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements. Report to Site Quality manager, liaise with construction team for quality issues Responsible for the execution (and improvement) of the Project Quality Plan in compliance with the requirements of the project, through the implementation of project’s specifications, procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements (MSs). Issue relevant Request for Inspection (RFI) to the Client and maintain a relevant register file for the progress of inspections. Verify that inspections are performed to the extent defined within the ITPs, by the appropriate staff, with the calibrated equipment, as required. - Check all required inspection points and reports as specified within the ITPs and monitor records within Schedules. Issue the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, informs the Quality Control Supervisor for non-conformities. Inspect materials/ equipment during receipt, verify compliance with the requirements Monitor preservation of equipment during storage/handling and after installation Check cable/ bus bars laying/installation and cable identification. Verify cables routing and correct termination acc. dwgs Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection. Inspect electrical equipment during erection based on the ITPs, such as T/Fs, GCBs, SSTs, UATs, SWGRs, STGs, EDGs, SPBs, Bus Ducts / Breakers, Main distribution Panels, Control panels etc. Perform all relevant loop checks, continuity, insulation resistance. Update as built drawings. Verify calibration and installation of equipment/instruments Verify fiber optic cable installation Orderly collect, check and manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carried out. Preparation of final documentation and Turn over packages Perform / participate to the final walk downs with the Customer, Subcontractor(s), Construction Engineers etc. and verify the recording of observations (punch items) that may have occurred after the walk down of the inspectors in the relevant list What you bring to the role: University Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience of working on major electrical works projects , Power Plants or O&G industry. 2+ years of previous experience on electrical inspection activities in electrical works projects, Power Plants or O&G. Previous experience in completion systems, (final walkdown, punch items, turn over packages) Previous exposure to high voltage electrical installation including switchgear and electric drives. Hazardous Area installation and equipment ATEX inspection experience. Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, regulations / legislation in general and in particular of BS/IEC/ISO/API/ATEX/EEMUA codes and standards relating to electrical and instrumentation work. Knowledge of safety regulations.
