As an Assistant Buyer, you will play a key role in providing effective & efficient support in our Commercial Department. To be successful, it is essential that you can work at pace, have excellent administration skills and an eye for detail.

Key Accountabilities:

• Actively support Buyers with a solid understanding of the Commercial Department and its operations.

• Analyze sales data through sell-out reports to identify the need for stock transfers between stores.

• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports for vendors, providing insights that support buying strategies.

• Maintain close communication with stores and sales teams to stay updated on product performance and needs.

• Monitor delivery schedules of new collections, ensuring timely product placement in stores.

• Organize and maintain all buying-related files before and after buying appointments.

• Communicate with vendors to coordinate merchandise reorders, product exchanges, and returns.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in the retail industry.

• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.

• Familiarity with systems such as Access and SAP is an asset.

• Knowledge of French and Italian will be considered a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
