We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Maitre/ Captain Banquet to lead the front-of-house banquet service team. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of banquet events, from setup to service to breakdown, while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail, ensuring each event is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Supervision: Lead banquet events from start to finish, including setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Guest Service: Be the main contact for guests during events, making sure their needs are met and handling any concerns professionally
• Team Management: Direct and supervise banquet staff, assigning duties and ensuring everyone provides excellent service
• Setup and Presentation: Oversee the proper arrangement of tables, chairs, linens, and equipment according to event orders
• Service Standards: Ensure high-quality service throughout the event, managing food and drink delivery and any special requests
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any issues during events, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Post-Event Tasks: Supervise cleanup and resetting of banquet rooms, ensuring everything is properly stored and ready for the next event

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-4 years of banquet or fine dining experience, with some supervisory background preferred
• Skills:

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• High attention to detail and service standards
• Problem-solving and guest-focused mindset
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg for event setup and breakdown
