About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Continuity Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the organization's resilience in the face of disruptions. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify risks, conduct impact analyses, and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and strategies.
  • Design and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) and testing protocols for IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Identify and assess potential risks related to the company’s ICT operations.
  • Identify potential system performance issues that might impact the BCP and DRP.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure data backup and recovery strategies are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with local GDPR guidance and regulatory requirements (EBA/DORA/etc.).
  • Consolidate and conduct testing and exercising of BCP and DRP plans.
  • Track change requests and ensures these are correctly administered, documented, maintained, and coordinated in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure necessary awareness and monitors the effective implementation of all IT policies and procedures within IT.
  • Collaborate with all IT teams to help formalize their processes, define process-level KPIs, and documents these principles in the Trading Point IT manual.
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, procedures, and consistent IT practices.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to the Head of the Department on the status of the business continuity program.
  • Support business relationship management initiatives and practices, to help strengthen the relationship between business and IT.
  • Offer services related to the above tasks and projects to any of the Companies of the Group as instructed by the Line Manager.


Main requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Business Management or any other related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ proven working experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management of related field.
  • Experience with industry frameworks and standards ITIL, ISO 22301, NIST
  • Technical knowledge of operations, physical, network, host and application security
  • Understanding security architecture, virtualization and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision
  • Fluency in English language both written and verbally.
