For the 2026 season, we seek an experienced and talented individual to join the award-winning Atlantica Holiday Village 5*in Rhodes Island as a Sous Chef.
Responsibilities
Handle and portion ingredients according to recipe specifications and safety guidelines.
Adhere to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
Adjust recipes as needed to meet dietary restrictions or special requests.
Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures throughout the cooking process.
Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed.
Ensure the culinary section adheres to all safety and health regulations
Stay updated on culinary techniques and industry trends through continuous learning.
Coordinate timing with other cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of all menu items.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
Certificate in culinary arts
Strong sense of culinary creativity with attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and food preparation standards
Familiarity with a range of cooking and other kitchen equipment
Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for teamwork
