Wavemaker Hospitality, the leading hotel company in Cyprus and Greece, is looking for experienced and talented individuals as Main Kitchen Cook A' to join the Atlantica awarded winning 5* hotels in Corfu, Rhodes and Kos islands for the summer season 2025.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following specified recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, and that food safety standards are maintained.
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure a smooth workflow
- Bring creativity to the kitchen by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing ones
- Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen staff. Guide to enhance their skills, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing workforce.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and customer preferences to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines for food preparation and handling
Requirements
- Culinary diploma
- 2+ years of experience as a Cook A' in a fine dining restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
