We are looking for an experienced and talented individual as a Bar Manager to join the awarded-winning 5* Atlantica Dreams Resort in Rhodes island for the season 2025.
The Bar manager role involves managing staff, ensuring quality service, and maximizing profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, recruit, train, and supervise bar staff.
- Provide training and ongoing support to ensure staff is well-prepared for their roles.
- Develop and manage the bar budget.
- Ensure that drinks are prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to alcohol service and safety.
- Oversee the ordering and management of bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and garnishes.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Foster a positive and cohesive team culture.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or bar management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role of a similar position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing an exceptional experience.
- Strong organizational, time-management skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and/or escalated guest issues and find creative solutions
- Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices, including customer service and guest experience.
- Fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
