WINGS is looking for an experienced Installations Engineer to work on IoT product installations, focusing on the company’s solutions and strengthening the embedded systems team in the field.

The successful candidate will:

• Utilize a wide range of installation tools, including multimeters, screwdrivers, and other specialized equipment, to ensure precise and efficient setups.

• Travel across Greece (and abroad when necessary) to execute field installations, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot embedded systems.

• Carry out office and lab operations to prepare devices and systems for seamless field deployment and troubleshooting.

• Conduct in-depth debugging and testing of embedded devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on networking and software projects to drive project success and innovation.

Educational requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer science or related field.

Essential skills

• 3+ years of proven working experience in relevant field installation roles

• Flexible to travel for field assignments several days per month

• Experience using installation tools such as multimeters, screwdrivers, etc.

• A good knowledge level in debugging and testing embedded devices and hardware components

• Skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving in technical environments

• Familiarity with networking (TCP/IP) and embedded Linux (such as RPi)

• Experience in Python or C/C++ would be a strong plus

Other Qualifications:

• Fluent in Greek and English

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive with a “can-do” attitude

• Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
