About the job

As Sales Consultant, you will be responsible to drive sustainable business growth via Customer (Chefs & foodservice businesses) engagement as per Area’s defined contact strategy. You will be responsible for sales targets in assigned territory while growing and maintaining productive relationships with Operators. More specifically:

  • On-going supervision, evaluation and development of existing customer base through a Multi touchpoint contact strategy face to face and online; providing support, training, menu engineering and solutions, physically or remotely.
  • Prospect, hunt and identify new customers. Develop and execute plan to win and sell to identified prospects.

Main Accountabilities:

The Sales Consultant must be able to work in a shaped B2B foodservice environment (Restaurants, Hotels, QSR) with a special focus on selling fundamentals that include:

  • Analyze the Area’s market potential through market mapping, manage existing customer base & develop a plan for new operators.
  • Implement Contact strategy & update when needed in assigned Area through a time & performance management framework.
  • Exploit all touchpoints (cold calling, partners, digital, visits etc) to contact customers in a timely manner & reach out to new Operators leads.
  • Always on-field to monitor the Area and ensure target achievement.
  • Professionally execute selling skills (Preparation, Opening, Listening & Questioning, Matching & Presenting, Handling objection, Closing, Follow up).
  • Be comfortable to work in a culinary environment (present, cooking demo, sampling, menu consulting) always by following HACCP & safety rules.
  • Willing to work in a digitally transforming environment & be an active part of it through relevant tools such as CRM/SM/PBI.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree.
  • 3 years’ experience in sales functions, preferably in the Foodservice Industry.
  • Ability to show creativity and work under pressure in kitchen environment.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • MS Office, Digital & Social Media.
  • Willingness to travel nationally.
