The American College of Greece is seeking a Specialist – International and Immigration Services to provide administrative and student-facing support to the International Student Services Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting international and study abroad students throughout the visa, residence permit, and integration process, contributing to a positive and inclusive student experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the International Student Services Office in all matters related to visas, residence permits, back-office operations, and student communication, ensuring timely and accurate service.
Communicate with international students prior to their arrival in Greece and prepare visa support letters.
Support degree-seeking international students through one-on-one meetings, presentations, and email communication to ensure full and timely understanding of visa and residence permit processes.
Coordinate with the Business Affairs Office for the preparation of documents required for residence permits (e.g., tax number, health insurance).
Follow up with students during the residence permit process regarding pending documentation, biometric appointments, and related requirements.
Provide support to international and study abroad students in relation to international program services, activities, and excursions, ensuring their full participation and smooth integration into the ACG community.
Participate in events and excursions organized for international and study abroad students.
Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
1–2 years of professional experience in sales, customer care, or student-facing roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
Strong PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of data gathering and reporting.
Required Skills:
Strong customer service orientation.
Effective interpersonal and presentation skills.
High attention to detail.
Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to adapt and work effectively in culturally and ethnically diverse environments.
Other requirements:
Ability to travel and to work flexible hours as required to support departmental needs.
