About the job
The American College of Greece is in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Specialist – North American Enrollment and Study Abroad. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery of admissions-related services, serving as the main point of contact for students and advisors throughout the admissions administrative processes on campus.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the primary contact for incoming study abroad students and advisors, responding to inquiries and providing information about ACG Study Abroad programs.
Support all phases of the admissions process—from application review to student registration and arrival—ensuring an efficient and student-centered experience.
Accurately enter and maintain student information in institutional systems to ensure data integrity and effective communication across departments.
Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students to promote engagement and retention throughout the admissions cycle.
Coordinate on-campus visits, information sessions, and residence tours to support recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
Support federal aid reporting by managing student records, including transcripts, course schedules, and attendance data, to ensure compliance with federal policies.
Assist in monthly cross-check processes for federal aid reporting and contribute to the preparation and distribution of financial aid award letters.
Support the assessment of satisfactory academic progress (SAP) for students at the conclusion of each semester.
Create, organize, and maintain student files to ensure accuracy and readiness for annual audits.
Collaborate with the Faculty-Led Programs Coordinator to establish processes, manage group logistics, and assist with classroom bookings and itinerary preparation.
Provide general departmental assistance and participate in special projects as assigned.
Participate in events, excursions, and activities organized for international and study abroad students to enhance engagement and community building.
Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or administrative roles.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Greek.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of data gathering and reporting.
Required Skills:
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Attention to detail, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
Teamwork and collaboration.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Customer-service orientation and adaptability in diverse cultural environments.
Required Knowledge:
Understanding of North American higher education systems, particularly recruitment cycles and admissions processes for study abroad students.
Familiarity with the needs and expectations of prospective undergraduate students.
Other requirements:
Flexibility in work schedule and availability for occasional travel to support program operations and student needs.
