The Frances Rich School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece is seeking to fill a full-time position in the English Department, in the area of American Literature.
Required Qualifications:
PhD with specialization in the areas of American Literature and Culture
At least one degree from an English-speaking institution
Active research record in the field of American Literature
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in graduate and/or undergraduate programs, preferably at an English-speaking institution.
General Skills:
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
A strong commitment to student-centered learning
Evidence of ability to produce high quality research work
Excellent interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication in English
Ability to develop courses in the specified area of expertise
Strong organizational skills
Evidence of ability to contribute to department service.
