About the job

The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a motivated professional to join the Advancement Office as Coordinator, Advancement – Alumni. The successful candidate will support alumni engagement initiatives, philanthropy activities, and the efficient daily operations of the Advancement Office, helping to foster strong and lasting relationships with alumni, parents, donors and the broader ACG community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily office operations, including managing inquiries, calls/emails, alumni/visitor requests, supplies, requisitions, calendars, meetings, and general administrative tasks.

  • Manage the daily content and execution of the Advancement Office’s social media strategy and digital communication platforms, in collaboration with the Communications Manager, to enhance alumni engagement and giving.

  • Produce monthly social media and digital media metrics reports and support the development of communication strategy based on these analytics.

  • Support the planning and organization of events, solicitation campaigns, and engagement initiatives targeting alumni, parents, and prospects.

  • Coordinate scholarship communication for donors and recipients under supervision of the Senior Manager.

  • Support donor stewardship activities, including preparing letters, coordinating meetings, and assisting with small events.

  • Support outreach, engagement, and solicitation of Pierce Parents, in collaboration with the Executive Director of Advancement – Development.

  • Provide administrative support to the Advancement team.

  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing/Management, Public Relations, or related fields.

  • 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Basic understanding of CRM systems, databases, and digital engagement platforms.

  • Knowledge of project management, social media management, and business communication processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and demonstrate creativity.

  • Team-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Other requirements:

  • Availability to attend and support Advancement Office events when needed.
