About the job

The American College of Greece (ACG) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Office of Human Resources on a fixed-term basis as a maternity cover. The successful candidate will assist in managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the accuracy of data entry, supporting HR systems, and handling various administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Assist in HR data entry, reporting, and document management
  • Support the administration of employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure proper archiving and management of employee records.
  • Handle HR-related queries from employees.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR or a relevant administrative role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
