senior financial analyst

The role will support the Global Product Financial Controller in controlling the internally generated intangible assets of Temenos, safeguarding compliance to applicable regulations and policies. This includes modelling and analyzing business performance, reporting, budgeting & forecasting. The position requires not only the collection and processing of data, but more importantly the financial support of the R&D business through interpretation and analysis of the trends and interrelationships that allow informed business decisions to be made. 

OPPORTUNITIES

• You will own end-to-end the process around internally generated intangible assets, ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
• You will be modelling and analyzing business performance through reporting of actuals, forecasts and budgets. 
• You will liaise with Product team, auditors, finance transformation and internal control systems teams to provide comfort on compliance on all applicable rules and regulations.
• You will contribute to ad-hoc finance transformation projects aiming to automate and improve processes finance transformation projects aiming to automate and improve processes.
• You will support the preparation of presentations addressed towards Senior Leadership and Executives Committee members.
• You will communicate financial targets to management teams across the Product business. Ensure an effective monitoring of costs and manage priorities. Advise on cost management alternatives.

SKILLS

• You should be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, etc.), with minimum of 5-years working experience in Audit, Controlling or Accounting.
• You should have experience at operating in an international environment, where English is the common language. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
• You should have experience in ensuring compliance with IFRS standards.
• You should have knowledge of Accounting for Intangible Assets under IFRS.
• You should have a good understanding of internal controls, systems, and processes.
• You should be a team-player with high ethical standards.
• You should have a calm disposition and ability to handle pressure.
• You should be a proactive individual focused on system and process improvements.
• You should have experience in working with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Ideally you will have experience working with a EPM tool.
• Ideally you will have audit experience in a big-4 accounting firm
