About the job
As a key member of the Group Finance Transformation team, the Senior Business Process Manager (BPM) plays a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing critical fin HR-related processes. This role encompasses process design, comprehensive documentation, change management, and driving key finance transformation initiatives.
The role's scope includes overseeing the ICS (Internal Control System) framework and Fin-HR processes, such as HCM, Employee Timecard, and Absence Management. These processes are pivotal in aligning finance transactions with reporting requirements, emphasizing the position's strategic importance in enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining organizational compliance.
OPPORTUNITIES
Act as a trusted advisor to the business for assigned processes, including the ICS framework and Fin HR processes. Focus on driving efficiency, consistency, and automation while guiding the business in implementing strategic internal projects, ensuring alignment and standardization. Serve as the process expert and primary contact for process clarifications, system issues, new initiatives, or specific business areas within your scope.
Own, update, and maintain all process documentation, such as process flowcharts (Confluence) and system development documentation (BRDs & Test Scripts), in collaboration with key stakeholders. Ensure detailed and comprehensive process documentation is available, with the support of the Business Owner (BO).
Manage and maintain ICS Framework-related documentation, including control catalogues and test plan templates, ensuring all are reviewed and approved by the Business Owner (BO) and Internal Audit as per ICS timelines.
Ensure training materials are relevant, up-to-date, and sufficient. Coordinate with the training manager for delivery during project rollouts or as part of change management communication.
Review, approve, or deny E-biz user change/enhancement requests for assigned Fin-HR Modules (Timecard & Absence) and processes, adhering to the ‘Change Management Procedure’ and Business Case guidelines.
Lead assigned Finance Transformation projects, coordinating with functional BPMs, Development teams, and end-user groups. Responsibilities include requirement design and documentation, approving system changes, overseeing development rollouts, delivering training, and providing project status updates.
Collaborate closely with Finance teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners, including the Head of Finance Transformation, BPMs, IT, risk and control owners, internal control, and audit teams, to ensure timely and accurate BAU tasks and deliver effective business solutions.
Monitor and follow up on any Internal or External Audit recommendations, supporting the preparation for Audit Committee reviews linked to the ICS framework.
SKILLS
Candidate should have basic finance qualification with 14+ years of work experience in Finance or Fin HR systems & processes/transformation/operations/transition/compliance projects and change management roles. Out of this, minimum of 10 years expertise in process transformation, system implementation and internal control roles
Candidate should have finance systems or relevant working experience of ERP systems. Proficient working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with Finance and Fin HR processes, relevant expertise in Project Management or professional qualification in Project Management (Prince, PMP)
You should have strong understanding of Internal Control Systems (COSO framework, SOX compliance, or similar frameworks).
You should have effective communication skills required to work with various internal and external stakeholders and be a team-player with high ethical standards.
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
Robust dispute resolution and change management competencies.
Very good analytical and planning skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-starter with high ethical standards; flexible, dynamic, resourceful, and self-motivated individual
Proficiency in English is a must; another language is considered as an advantage.
