What you'll do

Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Mechanical maintenance and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical failures and industrial machinery operation

Interbeton, part of TITAN Greece, has an exciting opportunity for a Production & Technical Supervisor to join our team in Kalamata. This role directly reports to the Ready-Mix Operations Manager. The primary function of this position is to manage the daily operations of the ready-mix unit effectively, with key responsibilities encompassing safety, production, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities.
Responsibilities
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and routine inspections of machinery, identifying potential issues and ensuring timely repairs to prevent breakdowns.
• Participate in the mechanical maintenance of equipment, ensuring safety measures are in place for yourself, colleagues, and contractors.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer to implement preventative maintenance programs, reducing unexpected equipment failures and downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure compliance with maintenance standards, quality control, and safety procedures.
• Assist in the modification, improvement, or upgrade of mechanical systems, coordinating with other departments as required.
• Report and document any mechanical issues that need further action, ensuring timely communication with management and relevant teams.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company health and safety standards.
• Fulfill any other mechanical maintenance duties as assigned by senior management, depending on operational needs.
Qualifications
• Polytechnic School Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any other related fields.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance processes and troubleshooting of mechanical failures.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough maintenance records.
• Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts, depending on the needs and schedule of the facility.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable).
