About the job

As a Manufacturing/Industrialization (Mechanical) Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of mechanical components and systems for our high-tech production lines. You will work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the industrialization of new mechanical components and systems, ensuring seamless transition from design to production.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with R&D to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
  • Define and document manufacturing workflows, work instructions, and process controls.
  • Identify and implement automation and lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and propose corrective actions to improve product quality and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Work with suppliers to qualify new materials, components, and manufacturing technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrialization, or production engineering in a high-tech environment (preferably defense, aerospace, or electronics industries).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, DFM/DFA methodologies, and production processes.
  • Experience with CAD software (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and PLM systems.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies are a plus.
