technician - material processing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated technician to join our team. The technician will support hands-on operations in advanced material processing and manufacturing, contributing to a dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of executing precision tasks related to powder and solid-state material handling and transformation.

• Operate equipment and machinery for powder material preparation, pressing, sintering, and grinding processes.

• Prepare raw materials and monitor key parameters during critical process steps to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality.

• Perform calibration and preventive maintenance of manufacturing and measurement equipment.

• Monitor process variables and collect production and experimental data accurately.

• Support setup, fixturing, and safe operation of heat treatment and high-temperature furnaces.

• Work closely with engineers and other technicians to refine process parameters and improve workflow efficiency.

• Conduct tasks in compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and test results as needed.

• Ensure clean, organized, and safe workspaces.

Τι θα έχετε μαζί σας

• Hands-on experience with mechanical, thermal, or material processing equipment

• Familiarity with powder metallurgy, ceramic or metallic sintering, or other heat-based material manufacturing techniques is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, basic schematics, and process documentation

• Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and hardness testers.      

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative. 

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform repetitive tasks safely.

• English fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.
