Tesla is advancing humanoid robots for large-scale automation of repetitive tasks. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join the Optimus Powertrain Design team, with a focus on kinematics modeling and optimization of motion transformation systems to drive innovative robotics solutions.

Develop advanced functions to model motion transformation systems.
Perform design optimization studies for humanoid joint actuation systems.
Process big data, select the most compelling candidates and visualize the results.

Several years of relevant experience.
Studies in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, focusing on robotics.
Excellent understanding of multibody system kinematics and dynamics.
Strong MATLAB programming skills.
Strong physics and mathematics background.
Understanding of optimization fundamentals.
Fluency in English.
The following will be considered as plus:
· Strong CAD skills.
· Understanding of control fundamentals.
· Basic understanding of electrical machines.
