About the job
As Tesla advances in humanoid robots, we are looking for a software engineer to improve, maintain, and contribute to the framework for accurate robot hardware description. Accurate robot representation is and will be used for robot simulations (policy training), validation of modeling and measurement data, and to explore new designs and architectures.

Contribute to the codebase for accurate robot hardware description
Advance tools to process robot configuration data and export description files
Ensure the export process is robust and automated
Develop unit tests to ensure code and data integrity

Studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science
Up to 3 years of experience
Strong Python and C++ programming skills
Knowledge of version control tools (Git) and software engineering practices
Fluency in English
Familiarity with CAD and robotic concepts is a plus
