What you'll do
- Manage all operational aspects of the sailing school including delivery of the RYA syllabus
- Deliver RYA courses aligning with RYA regulations and company standards
- Coordinate paperwork and instructors for all courses
- Drive revenue and promote courses available within resort
- Maintain standards of training delivered on shore-based courses
- Supervise customer feedback of RYA training and investigate vital comments
- Liaise with the RYA and governing bodies to ensure syllabus is up to date
- Ensure yachts are clean and set up per company and RYA requirements
- Communicate any SOP changes to instructors
- Provide support, mentorship, and ongoing training to instructors
- Develop course material to support course requirements
- Ensure accurate paperwork completion before yachts set sail
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while instructors are at sea
- Lead and empower the instructors
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Carry out other duties within your ability as requested

Customers can get as involved in the sailing as they like, whilst enjoying the turquoise waters, buzzy harbours, and endless horizons.
Living on board with the customers, our bareboat skippers are required to plan and adapt the charters itinerary dependent on each customer’s preferences, weather forecasts, and perhaps even any secret hidden local gems.
