What you'll do
- Ensure welfare, safety, and health of children aged 5-17
- Organize and coordinate children’s sailing-related activities and shore games
- Fit kids life jackets and harnesses
- Deliver kids’ first morning safety briefing and daily briefings when needed
- Prepare yachts and kids packs on turnaround day
- Maintain toys, games, treasure hunts, quizzes, and prizes for children
- Socialize with all guests and coordinate group meals and events including children’s arrangements
- Assist with general flotilla running including guest enquiries
- Support skipper, technician, and host during turnaround
- Maintain cleanliness and good presentation of lead boat
Key requirements
- Valid First Aid and Basic first aid certification
- Experience working with children aged 5-17 and activity organization
- Yacht sailing experience (RYA Day Skipper/Competent Crew) and yacht and base preparation
- Customer service and teamwork skills
- Safety briefing delivery and event coordination
- Flexibility and communication skills
- Toy and game preparation and prize management
- Cleanliness and presentation

Customers can get as involved in the sailing as they like, whilst enjoying the turquoise waters, buzzy harbours, and endless horizons.
Living on board with the customers, our bareboat skippers are required to plan and adapt the charters itinerary dependent on each customer’s preferences, weather forecasts, and perhaps even any secret hidden local gems.
