Scorpios is seeking for a Wellness Director that will have a key role in shaping Scorpios' wellness philosophy from the ground up, developing a unique and innovative wellness experience that transcends traditional spa offerings and adapts to each new Scorpios location. This role will blend creativity, innovation, and leadership to design and bring into life a holistic wellness journey that seamlessly integrates with the Scorpios lifestyle. The Director will lead the development of cutting-edge wellness initiatives, establishing a philosophy that connects with Scorpios guests and enhances the Scorpios brand, while managing wellness programming and driving the future of wellbeing from traditional spa initiatives. The Wellness Director will have hands-on involvement will be vital in driving the future of wellbeing, from traditional spa offerings to more innovative wellness experiences, ensuring that each location delivers a consistent and exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Define the Wellness Philosophy:

Develop and implement Scorpios’ unique wellness philosophy, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s holistic approach to wellbeing. Create a cohesive narrative for wellness that blends physical, mental, and emotional health with Scorpios' lifestyle-driven values, going beyond the traditional spa offerings. 

• Project Proposals & Implementation:

Select and propose cutting-edge wellness projects, partnerships with external vendors, and experiences. From designing wellness retreats to incorporating new technologies and wellness trends.

• Innovative Program Development: Propose, design, and implement state-of-the-art wellness programs and treatments that challenge traditional spa models. This includes integrating alternative therapies, fitness regimens, nutrition, mindfulness practices into comprehensive offerings. Hospitality and Wellbeing into one context.
• Programming Leadership:

Take full ownership of wellness programming across Scorpios locations as per the global Scorpios direction. Design wellness schedules alignment with the Scorpios brand while meeting local guest expectations (eg. Turkey, Dubai) ·

• Global Oversight and Strategy: Oversee the global wellness initiatives, ensuring that all different Scorpios locations are aligned with Scorpios’ wellness vision. Guide the implementation of the wellness strategy at each location, tailoring it to meet local needs while maintaining global consistency.
• Guest Experience Focus:

Prioritize the guest experience by creating wellness offerings that are unique, transformative, and in line with Scorpios’ hospitality ethos. Develop personalized wellness journeys that enhance the overall guest stay.

• Budget & Resource Management:

Manage the wellness department's budget efficiently, ensuring all programs and initiatives are cost-effective while maintaining the highest quality at each location. Ensure that roles per Scorpios location are properly covered and resources are used and trained efficiently.

• Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with other departments (e.g., Brand, Development, Marketing, Music, Programming and further operations departments) to ensure wellness is integrated into the overall Scorpios guest experience strategy. Promote wellness initiatives internally and externally through engaging storytelling and marketing campaigns. 

• Hands on Operations Provide direct support for operations based on business needs, particularly when it comes to the local spa facilitation and coordination.

Requirements

• A required qualifications ideally in Wellness/ Health with a strong Spiritual practice or interest /Hotel Management, technical skills.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or greater role in luxury wellness, spas and fitness facilities
• Excellent command of verbal and written skills in English. Additional proficiency in other languages is considered a plus, reflecting the global nature of the hospitality industry and Scorpios' diverse clientele.
• Technology skills include MS Office
