What you'll do
- Monitor construction progress and quality daily on site across all work fronts
- Validate contractor progress claims against actual works executed
- File daily site reports into the project management platform
- Flag discrepancies, quality issues, risks, and open items proactively to the Civil Engineer Manager
- Coordinate day-to-day with the General Contractor and subcontractors
- Support on-site measurements and verification of quantities with Cost Controller / QS
- Support testing and commissioning activities and punch-list tracking
- Participate in site walks and record health and safety observations

About the job
The Junior Site Engineer is the owner’s full-time eyes on site: monitoring progress and quality daily, validating what the contractor reports against what is actually built, and feeding accurate, timely information into the project management platform. An ideal first or second role for a civil engineer who wants to grow inside a landmark hospitality development.

Key Responsibilities

Validate contractor progress claims day by day against actual works executed.
File daily site reports into the project management platform (ingenious.build).
Flag discrepancies, quality issues, risks and open items proactively to the Civil Engineer Manager.
Coordinate day-to-day with the General Contractor and subcontractors.
Support the Cost Controller / QS with on-site measurements and verification of quantities.
Support testing & commissioning activities and punch-list tracking.
Participate in site walks and record health & safety observations.
Key Performance Indicators
Daily site report filed every working day
Progress-claim discrepancies identified before certification
Open-items list current, with aging tracked
Quality issues documented with photos and location references\
Qualifications
0–3 years of experience; site experience or internships on construction projects are an advantage.
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Fluent Greek and good working English.
