About the job
Your main purpose
Strategic Material Selection: Lead material selection processes in close collaboration with the Design Development team and external consultants, ensuring alignment with cost targets and quality expectations.
Industry Engagement & Insight Gathering: Represent the company in international and domestic exhibitions; engage directly with factories and agents to gather insights, prepare tailored proposals, and compile detailed reports based on project needs.
Innovation in Building & MEP Solutions: Propose innovative solutions in new building materials and MEP systems with enhanced performance, always aligned with the brand’s standards and requirements.
Specification & Qualification Oversight: Oversee final selection, specification, and qualification of materials in collaboration with the DD team and consultants, ensuring full compliance with project objectives.
Regulatory Support & Internal Guidance: Act as a key support figure for internal teams in interpreting regulations and selecting materials that ensure design and regulatory compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster cross-functional collaboration with designers, consultants, and the broader development team, driving integrated and brand-aligned project outcomes.
What will you bring?
Academic background in Civil Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic School.
Advanced user of MS Office and AutoCAD.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Brings 10+ years of proven experience in similar roles within the construction and development sector.
Demonstrated knowledge of building materials and MEP systems, with a strong track record in sourcing and implementing innovative solutions.
Experienced in preparing and managing detailed material documentation, including supplier data, technical specifications, drawings, delivery timelines, and compliance tracking.
