About the job
As a Front Office Agent, you will be responsible for creating exceptional first and lasting impressions for our guests. You will ensure smooth front office operations while delivering warm, personalized service that reflects The Fiction Hotel's unique character and hospitality philosophy.
Key responsibilities
Providing consistent excellent service to guests upon arrival, and during their stay, from check-in to checkout.
Welcoming and registering guests expeditiously, providing information to them as needed, obtaining identification and credit/check approval as directed by hotel policy.
Verifying rate and departure date. Confirmation and modification of information required to complete the registration process as per hotel procedures.
Answering all guest questions accurately and resolving problems in a timely manner ensuring guest satisfaction. Authorizing revenue allowances as allowed by hotel policy.
Upselling guest rooms, food & beverage outlets if applicable and seasonal hotel promotions.
Making restaurant, transportation, and/or entertainment reservations for guests, plus other concierge services as requested and having thorough knowledge of hotel amenities, company, and local area & attractions.
Communication and cooperation with other hotel departments to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Understanding of hotel history, services, facility information, and rates and packages
Requirements
Degree in Hospitality or Travel & Tourism is highly desirable.
Prior solid work experience as a Front Office Agent or similar roles.
Thorough knowledge of the hospitality industry.
Customer-oriented and friendly personality.
Sound communication and administrative skills.
Excellent command of English language
Attention to detail and a structured way of working
