junior software engineer (chania based)

The Junior Software Engineer will be part of the Development Lab team in Chania to create services and highly engaging software applications across key airline functionalities that will further elevate our passengers’ experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains RESTful APIs to support front-end and partner systems.

• Develops and maintains Azure Functions for serverless and event-driven tasks.

• Writes and optimizes SQL queries for data access, transformation, and reporting.

• Collaborates with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features.

• Participates in testing, debugging, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Exposure to Java, JavaScript, NodeJS and SQL.

• Familiarity with REST API principles and basic HTTP concepts.

• Understanding of relational databases and queries.

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and version control.

• Native speaker in Greek and fluency in English (verbal and written).

• IT literate (MS Office).
