About the job
We are looking for an Information Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the company’s cybersecurity governance and ensure the protection of enterprise information assets. Working with key stakeholders, you will oversee security frameworks, risk management processes, incident response operations, and business continuity readiness to strengthen SKY express’s overall cyber resilience.
Responsibilities:
Lead the company’s Information Security governance and strategy, ensuring effective policies and frameworks.
Manage risk, compliance, and alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and EU regulatory standards.
Monitor security operations and coordinate incident response activities.
Support IT projects and Data Protection (GDPR) activities with security best practices.
Oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
Manage security audits, third-party risks, and drive security awareness across the organization.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid project management and leadership capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
Competent to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree in Information Security or Cyber Security or professional certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CDPSE, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) will be considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security, including risk management and incident response.
Proven experience implementing cybersecurity and compliance programs (covering frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and EU security/privacy legislation).
Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
Proficient in IT applications (MS Office suite).
