The Flight Standards Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing flight operations standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
This role is crucial in ensuring the overall proper standardization of Flight Operation methods and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Advise Flight Operations division for changes in regulations practices and procedures.
- Establish and maintain subscriptions for all necessary publications and the required navigational aids (route and airport charts, navigational databases etc.).
- Update and publish the Operational and Airway manuals and their amendments.
- Produce and maintain company’s publications through the Operations Library.
- Manage the Operations Library centralised revision unit for Aeroplane Flight Manuals.
- Distribute throughout the company the required documentation as well as the Company Operations Manuals and their amendments.
- Ensure that all company’s aircrafts have the current required documentations.
- Secure that aircrafts operate in accordance with applicable performance requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports on compliance, findings, and recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Safeguard that the published standard noise abatement procedures are followed.
- Prepare the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) for each aircraft, and have it approved by the competent Authority.
- Interact with EASA and HCAA on all Flight Standards related issues.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Administration or a related field.
- Good to have experience in flight operations, with a focus on flight standards.
- Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, etc.) and industry standards.
- Excellent knowledge in aviation management software and tools.
- Flight experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
- Proficiency Knowledge of MS Office.
Nice to have familiarity with:
- Airbus PEP (Performance Engineer Program) Knowledge.
- ATR FOS (Flight Operation Software) Knowledge.
- Airbus Flysmart Knowledge.
- ATR SPS Knowledge. (Single Point Performance Software).
- Airbus FODM (Flight Ops Documentation Management) Knowledge.
- Airbus eQRH Administration Knowledge.
- NAVBLUE Charts+ Administration Knowledge via NCIM.
- ICAO Airport Handling Manual AHM565 creation Knowledge.
