catering and inflight services quality assurance associate

The Catering and Inflight Services Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for ensuring that food, beverages, and inflight services meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and airline policies.

This role plays a key part in monitoring catering operations, supplier compliance, and inflight service quality to deliver an outstanding onboard experience for company’s passengers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review specifications for products or processes.
• Oversee all product development processes to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Assure ongoing compliance with health and safety instructions and industry regulatory requirements.
• Perform product quality reviews.
• Draft quality assurance procedures covering the quality system and the cultivation and production activities of the company.
• Gather and analyze feedback from flight crews and passengers to improve catering offerings.
• Ensuring that catering suppliers adhere to airline and aviation regulatory standards
• Review the implementation and efficiency of quality systems / collect and compile statistical quality data.
• Generate reports for management on quality trends and areas for improvement.
• Recommend process improvements based on data insights.
• Set specifications for raw materials and intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition or a related field.
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance role, food procurement or industrial catering operations.
• Experience in managing standards (ISO, HACCP, BRC, IFS, etc.).
• Experience in Quality Assurance principles, Quality management systems and Business Improvement tools are highly desirable.
• Previous experience in aviation will be an asset.
• Flexibility to work in rotation shifts, irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Fluency in oral and written English/Greek.
• Proficiency Knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel.
