What you'll do
- Analyse source systems and design batch, real-time, one-way, and bidirectional integration architectures
- Build ingestion pipelines with Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric and perform initial loads with source reconciliation
- Build outbound flows delivering golden records to data warehouses, lakehouses, Power BI, and other consumers
- Implement write-back to source systems via REST APIs, webhooks, or Profisee Connect
- Apply error handling and retry logic to integration flows
- Administer SQL Server, environments, configuration deployments, and Microsoft Entra ID integration
- Set up pipeline and platform monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Support data profiling and large-volume matching tests
- Document technical architecture and runbooks
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Azure data engineering and data integration architecture
- Data ingestion pipelines and data reconciliation
- SQL Server / T-SQL and SQL Server administration
- Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric
- REST APIs, JSON, and authentication flows
- Python or C#, Git and CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and logging
- Environment and configuration deployment, error handling and retry logic, data profiling, and technical documentation and runbooks
