What you'll do
- Develop and deploy Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions with IBM watsonx.ai
- Build, fine-tune, and evaluate foundation models and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Design prompt engineering strategies and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
- Integrate AI services into enterprise applications and workflows
- Monitor model performance and optimize AI solutions for business outcomes
- Implement responsible AI practices using IBM watsonx.governance
- Establish AI risk management, compliance, and model monitoring frameworks
- Define policies for model lifecycle management, explainability, and auditability
- Ensure AI systems meet regulatory, security, and ethical standards
- Create governance dashboards and reporting mechanisms
- Build and manage scalable data pipelines using IBM watsonx.data
- Prepare, transform, and govern structured and unstructured data
- Optimize data architectures for analytics, AI training, and inference workloads
- Integrate data sources across cloud and on-premises environments
- Ensure data quality, security, and accessibility throughout the AI lifecycle
- Design and automate AI workflows with IBM watsonx Orchestrate
- Integrate AI assistants with enterprise systems, APIs, and business processes
- Build intelligent workflows to streamline operations and improve productivity
- Develop reusable automation components and orchestration patterns
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver seamless user experiences
Key requirements
- Experience with IBM watsonx platform components including watsonx.ai, watsonx.governance, watsonx.data, and watsonx Orchestrate
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI/ML concepts
- Proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
- Familiarity with APIs, REST services, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
- Expertise in AI risk management, model monitoring, and compliance frameworks
- Skills in building and managing data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and Spark
- Competence in AI workflow automation, conversational AI, and enterprise system integration
