What you'll do
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect
- Configure and maintain API Manager, Developer Portal, Gateway, and Analytics components
- Collaborate with architects, backend teams, and stakeholders to create efficient API solutions
- Ensure API governance, security, and access control with policies, OAuth2, and JWT
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for scalability
- Implement CI/CD practices for API deployment and versioning
- Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, and best practices
- Stay updated on integration technologies, API standards, and IBM product updates
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- IBM API Connect and API lifecycle management
- REST APIs and API security standards including OAuth2.0 and JWT
- DataPower Gateway configuration and troubleshooting
- JavaScript and Python scripting or development
- CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- JSON and XML with API documentation skills
