What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar data management role.
Strong hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Solid understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and replication techniques.
Knowledge of backup/recovery tools, high availability configurations, and monitoring systems.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and reliability.
Nice to Haves
Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) or cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Amazon RDS).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Database certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) is a plus.
